You can contact us via email if you have any questions about how our tuition works.

Use the Contact Us page to send an email or book a Free Consultation with a tutor of your choice. This enables you to tell us what tuition you are looking for and add any other relevant information. The booking can be done via the booking form on our Home Page or on the page relevant to the subject or level you are interested in. During the 20-minute Free Consultation you can ask any questions about how our tuition works. You will also get to know the tutor and he/she will tell you about their method of teaching, their qualifications and experience.

Alternatively, you can book your lesson directly using the booking form on the Home Page or on each subject and level page.

You can select and book tuition straight away. Bookings can be make 24 hours or more in advance. 

Simply go to the bottom of this page or to our Home Page and choose the level and subject, e.g. A-Level/Higher & Advanced Higher, Physics. You will see the name of the available tutor, the cost of their tuition and the tutor’s calendar shows their availability. Click on the day and time best matching your own schedule.

Clicking the date and time will prompt the booking to be scheduled. This will be confirmed by an email notification to you and the tutor, giving you both a link to the Zoom classroom for your online class.

We currently offer:

– 40-minute lessons at £32

– 60-minute lessons at £39

If you encounter any problems booking the online lesson or you don’t receive a link to Zoom, please do email us straightaway. We always aim to resolve the issues quickly and to everyone’s satisfaction.

BEFORE the lesson: 

Once you have booked a lesson, you will receive an email notification with a link to a Zoom classroom. You will also receive an email with the confirmation of your payment.

Make a note of the day and time of your lesson and simply use the link in the email to join your class. You may want to tell your tutor which textbooks you use, or mention what you want to focus on.

DURING your lesson:

It is OK to take screenshots of all teaching materials used during the lesson. Please tell your tutor that you are taking screenshots. We do not record our lessons but many tutors agree to email materials to their students after the lesson. You can discuss this with us or the tutor.

AFTER your lesson:

You can email us at admin@bktutoring.co.uk and ask for lesson feedback or provide your own feedback. Our tutors will be happy to tell you how you are doing. If you wish to publish your feedback, please do so on Trustpilot or Google. You can also email it to us and we can add it to BK Tutoring website. The tutors are always happy to receive reviews.

When you book a lesson, we will ask for your payment method and process the payment.

CANCELLATION:

In order for tutors to plan and prepare their lessons, it is important to let them know if you need to cancel your lesson. We ask for an 8-hour notice, which will allow us to refund your payment in full.

REFUNDS:

If the tutor has to cancel a lesson, we will try our best to find a supply tutor to cover for them and the lesson will go ahead as planned. However, if we are unable to find a supply tutor, we will refund the payment in full. Please allow a few days for the refund to reach your account.

UNSUCCESSFUL PAYMENTS:

If the payment method does not work, you can try to use a different debit or credit card to make the booking.
