The main areas students usually wish to focus on when learning Physics are:
….we also offer lessons to help with all areas of secondary school and some access material for students going into Higher Education.
Our tutors prepare their own resources based on years of studying Physics and on their teaching experience. We also use past papers from all main exam boards; for example: AQA, Edexcel, SQA, and are happy to correct our students’ homework.
All prepared materials for our lessons are saved and can be shared with the student.
Physics is a natural science that deals with the study of matter and its behaviour through space and time. It basically deals with how the universe works.
The Greek word “Physika” means “knowledge of nature”.
It is considered to be one of the oldest sciences with some of the earliest accounts dating back to around 3000 BC. The ancient Egyptians and Indus Valley Civilisation studied for example the movement of the Sun, the stars and the Moon.
Studying Physics at university level means performing astronomical observations, developing skills in cutting edge quantum computing and working on experiments with specialist researchers from around the world.
The blue colour of the sky is created by atoms noticeable all around, which scatter or deflect the light from the Sun. The blue light has shorter waves than other colours and it is scattered the most strongly, so that our eyes see the blue colour stronger than all other colours of the sunlight.
