Transition to High School is a significant step in a child’s development. However, it can cause some uncertainty, especially regarding coming together with pupils from other schools in Year 7/8 & S1/S2 (in Scotland). We will support you child by giving them that bit of extra support that they may need to catch up or feel more confident when taking the leap into High School.
Improved confidence achieved through online learning is a great way to improve grades from the very start of Secondary Education. It will also allow the new teachers to see your child in the best light possible and demonstrate their amazing potential.
We can assist with homework, check that your child’s understanding of Maths or Physics is up to scratch from the very beginning, ensure their English skills are developing and their German or French getting more fluent. The first years of Secondary School prepare pupils for the completion of Key Stage 3 in their education. From Key Stage 4, the work will focus on material needed for passing GCSE (England, Wales, Northern Ireland) or National 5 (Scotland) exams.
Year 7/8 & S1/S2 are a great time for establishing which parts of the curriculum your son or daughter is leaning towards and helping them with their subject selection. Competent online tuition can close any gaps in Maths, Sciences, English or Foreign Languages which the children may have.
Online tuition is accessible to all pupils across the UK, whether they live in cities, towns or rural locations. We pride ourselves in reaching out to all families.
All prepared materials for our lessons are saved and can be shared with the student.

Our trusted tutors have current disclosure checks (DBS or PVG depending on their location) as well as qualifications and references obtained from professional bodies.
Year 7/8 & S1/S2 are not yet subject to national examinations.
We keep the cost of hourly online tuition for the first two years of High School the same as for the final two years of Primary School. It is a great time to use private tutors and save money on more costly exam tuition in the future.
