Use our Contact Us page to send an email or book a Free Consultation with a tutor of your choice. This enables you to tell us what tuition you are looking for and add any other relevant information. The booking can be done via the booking form on our Home Page or on the Contact Us page. During the free chat you can ask any questions about how our tuition works.
You can select and book tuition straight away. Simply go to the bottom of this page or to our Home Page and choose the level and subject, e.g. A-Level/Higher & Advanced Higher, Physics. You will see the name of the available tutor, the cost of their tuition and the tutor’s calendar shows their availability. Click on the day and time best matching your own schedule.
Clicking the date and time will prompt the booking to be scheduled. This will be confirmed by an email notification to you and the tutor, giving you both a link to the Zoom classroom for your online class.
Once you have booked a lesson, you will receive an email notification with a link to a Zoom classroom. Please make a note of the day and time and simply use the link in the email to join your lesson. You may want to tell your tutor which textbook you use, or mention what you want to focus your lessons on.
It is OK to take screenshots of all teaching materials used during the lesson. Please tell the tutor that you are taking a screenshot, in case they are sharing a video and need to ensure that the screen is only displaying teaching materials. We do not record our lessons and there is no option to do so at the moment, but you are entitled to screenshots for all slides and exercises.Â
You can email us (admin@bktutoring.co.uk) and ask for lesson feedback. Our tutors will be happy to provide feedback every 3-4 lessons. Also, should you have some feedback for the tutor or wish to change tutor, you can email us and we will pass it on. You can help us shape how our tuition works in the future.
When you book a lesson, we will ask for your payment method and process the payment.
In order for tutors to plan and prepare their lessons, it is important to let them know if you need to cancel your lesson. We ask for an 8-hour notice, which will allow us to refund your payment in full.
If the tutor has to cancel a lesson, we will try our best to find a supply tutor to cover for them and the lesson will go ahead as planned. However, if we are unable to find a supply tutor, we will refund the payment in full. Please allow a few days for the refund to reach your account.
If the payment method does not work, you can try to use a different debit or credit card to make the booking.
